I’ve been so excited to share this Eastern Yacht Club wedding from this past May because it was so amazing!! Taylor and Peter’s entire day was electric because of their incredible connection, as well as Taylor’s vibrant personality. She is one of the sunniest people I’ve ever met! It was so apparent on their wedding day how well they complement each other.

And the setting was just perfect. If you’re planning a coastal wedding in Massachusetts, the Eastern Yacht Club in Marblehead is a great venue. Keep reading to see more from their beautiful wedding!

A Marblehead Wedding Day

If you are not familiar with it, Marblehead is a really charming coastal town on Boston’s north shore. It has beautiful streets of old homes to explore, and since the town is a peninsula, you are near the ocean almost everywhere you go! It’s where Taylor grew up, and she was really excited to have a hometown wedding.

Their ceremony took place at the Old North Church in town, which was first established in 1635! There is so much history in Marblehead, it’s beautiful. After the ceremony at the church, everyone headed to the Eastern Yacht Club for the reception.

[Some friends of Taylor and Peter’s who were in attendance were actually one of my 2022 couples, Grace and Jack! Grace and Taylor grew up together in Marblehead, and Grace also held her wedding in town at her parents’ home on the ocean. You can check out the details from their wedding, here!]

Eastern Yacht Club Wedding Reception

The reception itself was absolutely beautiful. Cocktail hour was inside the Yacht Club, and then the dinner and dancing portion of the evening was outdoors under a tent. Their decor was simple and classic – just how they wanted it. Their florals and table decor gave an elegant garden party vibe, and the live band was so much fun. The support and love from all of their friends and family was contagious – it was so special! Taylor and Peter even got to light the cannon as part of the Yacht Club’s Tradition of Colors. It was so clear that they were having the best time ever. They didn’t even let the rain and wind dampen the atmosphere or their spirits!

Congratulations, Taylor and Peter, and wishing you both a lifetime of the love and joy you experienced on your wedding day!

Looking for a Boston Photographer?

It was such a pleasure to be a part of this Eastern Yacht Club wedding – the venue was stunning and the party an absolute blast! Though I love photographing weddings all around the Boston area and throughout New England, North Shore weddings are extra special to me. If you are planning a New England wedding and still searching for your perfect photographer, I would love to hear from you! Connecting with couples and being able to capture your authentic love story is the best part of my job.
