The Cape Club of Sharon is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues in Massachusetts, so I’m super excited to share this Cape Club of Sharon wedding today! I was blown away by the care that the venue team put into Caitlyn + Thomas’ day. It was truly above and beyond. Keep reading for some gorgeous Massachusetts wedding inspiration!
A Beautiful Cape Club of Sharon Wedding
Caitlyn + Thomas
Caitlyn and Thomas have a really cute love story. They were good friends in high school, but then Thomas moved to Arizona for college while Caitlyn stayed in Boston. After college Thomas moved back to Massachusetts, and they started dating from there. Caitlyn had been wanting to move out of state and experience something new, so together they packed up and moved out to AZ! They shared lots of adventures together out there, including getting engaged on a trip to Mexico. Ready to be back home near friends and family though they moved back to Massachusetts a few months before their wedding.
Cape Club of Sharon Wedding Day Details
Caitlyn and Thomas were married on an absolutely beautiful spring day. The sun was shining through the clouds all afternoon – it was gorgeous! Their day began with getting ready onsite at the Cape Club, followed by a first look and private moment for C +T. They opted to share their vows privately before the ceremony. This is an amazing option if you prefer to keep that moment between just the two of you!
Doing the first look also allowed us to capture a lot of their portrait photos before the ceremony began so that they could enjoy the company of their guests during cocktail hour. The ceremony took place on the golf course and was decorated beautifully with white and pink flowers. Caitlyn looked elegant in her classic gown with a long, lace-trimmed veil. I also loved the beautiful sage green color she chose for her bridesmaids!
After the ceremony, everyone headed back to the country club to celebrate. Since it was such a beautiful day they were able to have their cocktail hour out on the deck, which was then followed by a beautiful reception inside. All of the details throughout their day were so stylish and tasteful.
And the party itself was a total blast. I was able to capture so many fun dancefloor photos because all of their guests were out there having a great time! We even did some intentional blur photography on the dancefloor. My favorite part of the day though was sneaking Caitlyn + Thomas outside for some golden hour portraits. This is always one of my favorite moments of the wedding day because your energy is so relaxed and celebratory. I think it’s the most romantic part of the day!
The Cape Club of Sharon
As I mentioned, I really love the Cape Club of Sharon for a wedding venue. There were so many gorgeous locations for photos and the different parts of their wedding, and the staff really took the best care of the couple! They provided golf cart transportation to make it easier for C + T to get around, and even provided a bridal attendant to help with fluffing Caitlyn’s dress. If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Massachusetts, I highly recommend the Cape Club!
