I am beyond thrilled to share Briana and Andrew’s Codman Estate wedding today! Their wedding was filled with historic New England charm and so much love. Codman Estate
As Briana and Andrew were beginning to plan their wedding, they settled on the location first and picked Lincoln, MA. Andrew and his family are from there, and Briana’s family is on the North Shore and Exeter, NH, so it was a great location for everyone. They decided to book the Codman Estate as their venue, which is a historic property in Lincoln.
They fell in love with the venue’s grounds and architecture. The estate is a beautiful historic home, and the grounds are made up of stunning gardens, an expansive lawn, and an Italian Garden ceremony site. It was truly a dream to photograph their wedding day there!

A Lovely Spring Codman Estate Wedding Day
Briana and Andrew’s wedding day itself was filled with so many special details. Prior to the ceremony, we took portraits and family photos on the lawn in front of the estate. B + A opted to do a first look before the ceremony and it was a nice romantic moment before the family arrived. [If you are deciding whether or not to include a first look on your wedding day, I have a post on this topic here!] It was a gorgeous and clear sunny day and you can just feel the warmth from this moment in their photos!
Next, the ceremony took place in the Italian Garden and was just beautiful. Both of their mothers spoke during the ceremony which was really touching! Briana accessorized with some sentimental jewelry pieces, including a bracelet from her aunt and a ring that her dad gave her mom as a promise ring when they were dating. I always find it so special when couples include family heirloom pieces in their day! She also selected lavender tones for her bridal bouquet as well as reception flowers which were such a lovely pop of color.
Following cocktail hour, the reception took place under a tent on the property of the estate and included a live band and a wonderful meal. B + A opted to skip a traditional wedding cake and had tres leches cake and churros with chocolate sauce for dessert instead. Briana is half Mexican so this was an important detail to them! It was truly a beautiful day.
A Little About Briana and Andrew
Briana and Andrew’s story began when she was just starting her second year of OBGYN residency after moving back to New England following medical school. Andrew had been living in Boston since graduating college and law school and had recently taken over his family’s business of wine import and distribution. They met online, and things progressed quickly from there! They both work a lot, so finding time for trips out of town was tricky, but for their proposal, they squeezed in a romantic weekend away in Puerto Rico and it was a for sure YES!
It was so wonderful to get to know Briana and Andrew throughout their engagement and a true honor to photograph their wedding. Congratulations B + A, so much love to you!
