Looking for Cape Cod wedding venue inspiration? Then I’ve got you covered today! I had the pleasure of photographing Alana and Jake’s wedding at Whychmere Beach Club’s Dune in Harwich Port, MA this May, and it was truly special. Read on to learn all about their day!
Alana + Jake’s Elegant Wedding Day
It was such an honor and pleasure to capture Alana and Jake’s wedding day. They are the sweetest couple! After dating for a short while, their love really blossomed during a trip to Disney – and the rest was history. They now share their beautiful home with their pup Coulson, and planned the most elegant Cape Cod wedding at the Wychmere Beach Club’s newest venue, Dune.
Alana and Jake and their guests braved a chilly spring day for their Cape Cod wedding, but then the weather cleared for a beautiful sunset. Their day was filled with lots of special moments and considerations. First, Alana got ready with their pup Coulson, which was so sweet! She wore a stunning lace v-neck wedding gown, with pearl and crystal hair accessories and jewelry. Her ladies wore perfect coastal blue bridesmaid dresses. Before the ceremony, Alana and Jake shared a touching first-look moment on the Dune deck, overlooking the ocean. For their ceremony, they surprised their guests with flower dudes! Finally, dinner and dancing to the live band was a spectacular way to end the evening.

Cape Cod Wedding Venue – Dune
Wychmere beach club weddings are always stunning – and their new venue Dune definitely did not disappoint! Alana and Jake’s wedding was one of the first weddings held at the venue, and it was a truly memorable experience for everyone. First, the building is gorgeous and sits right on the ocean. The ceremony was held on their rooftop terrace outside, and dinner and dancing were perfect in the great room that overlooks the ocean. Additionally, the room and their tables were filled with coastal decor like blue hydrangeas and classic place settings. Also, with panoramic windows and ocean views, the lighting in the space was beautiful as the sun began to set. Lastly, we were even able to sneak out onto the terrace at sunset to capture the most romantic bridal portraits. This Cape Cod wedding was a dream!

[…] The thing that I loved the most about Hanna and Kevin’s day however was that they didn’t entirely stick to tradition and planned a less structured, naturally flowing day. They bought out the entire Emerson Inn, so their guests could move about freely during the evening. For dinner, they had open seating and a food station so guests could sit anywhere and enjoy the coastal scenery. They also had a private moment where they read their vows to one another out on the cliffs by the ocean before proceeding to their ceremony.
