A Coastal Wedding at Misselwood at Endicott | Amanda + Adam

I have been bursting at the seams to share this stunning wedding at Misselwood at Endicott. Amanda and Adam planned the perfect New England wedding filled with timeless elegance, and it was an absolute DREAM! If you’re looking for classic coastal wedding inspiration, you will love everything about this day just as I did.

An Elegant Coastal Wedding

When Amanda and Adam were planning their wedding, they knew that they wanted a coastal venue. Though they live in California now, they both grew up by the coast in Massachusetts, so there was no question to them that their wedding would be seaside. Misselwood at Endicott was the perfect fit! Another thing super important to them – that the wedding be elegant, but also FUN. And they definitely nailed it!

The day began that afternoon. I joined Amanda and the ladies while they got ready on-site at the estate. Amanda wore a beautiful, elegant lace robe and paired it with fun pearl-embellished slippers. From there the couple shared a private first look before being joined by the rest of their family and bridal party for portraits. Once guests began to arrive, Amanda was tucked away inside.

The ceremony was beyond stunning. It took place on the lawn overlooking the ocean and was decorated with classic blue and white flowers including garden roses and hydrangea accents. All of the details of the day reflected this classic coastal color palette actually – from the bridesmaids’ dresses to the invitations, to the dress hangers, everything was elegantly decorated in blue and white. Fog rolled in during the ceremony, which enhanced the oceanside feel of the day. It was truly the perfect New England wedding ceremony.

After that, it was party time! Guests were treated to a cocktail hour on the estate’s terrace, and then dinner and dancing took place under the climate-controlled tent. Everyone danced the night away to the live band and had a spectacular evening.

Misselwood at Endicott

I absolutely love weddings at The Estate at Misselwood – it is the perfect setting for elegance. The venue has so many different settings in one, which makes for such a fun variety of photos, as well as an amazing experience for the guests! There is the classic estate with so many architectural details, the oceanside views, cliffs to explore, and a gorgeous garden. The reception terrace features a permanent tent that’s climate-controlled, has lighting built in, and has a terrace floor. If classic coastal elegance is your wedding vibe, then I definitely recommend checking out Misselwood.

The other reason I really love this venue is that it has incredible light just about everywhere. The conservatory with its wrapping windows is the dreamiest light for photos and is flattering for everyone. The estate also has a library which is moody and elegant while still having amazing directional light. You will wind up with stunning wedding photos here no matter what! I have worked here on rainy days, as well as days with beautiful sun, and this timeless venue always delivers on class and elegance.
