Today I’m rounding up my top 10 favorite coastal wedding venues in New England. Coastal weddings are absolutely stunning during any season here in New England – we are so lucky to have access to such beautiful scenery! From the mountains to the ocean to the city of Boston, there is so much to see. But if coastal is your wedding vibe, then definitely keep reading to narrow down your search for the perfect venue.

1 Misselwood at Endicott College – Beverly, MA
Weddings at The Estate at Misselwood are always sure to be elegant. The classic estate is filled with lots of architectural details, it has stunning views of the ocean, lots of cliffs to explore, and a gorgeous garden. They have a permanent tent on their terrace that is climate-controlled, making it perfect for outdoor weddings when seasonally appropriate. If you’re looking for a coastal wedding venue on Boston’s North Shore, Misselwood is a great pick!

2 Tupper Manor – Beverly, MA
Another North Shore coastal wedding venue, Tupper Manor, in Beverly, MA is a classically designed estate. It offers great exterior locations for your ceremony and portrait photos, and even has a secret beach behind the property! But possibly my favorite thing about weddings at Tupper Manor is that they allow you to have your reception in the actual estate, as opposed to just in a tent on the property.
3 Crane Estate – Ipswich, MA
Ipswich is one of the most scenic and charming towns in coastal Massachusetts, and the Crane Estate is a historic hilltop mansion there that hosts weddings and events. This venue has a timeless elegance and features breathtaking views. From the mansion’s lawn, you can see rolling hills of grass that cascade down to the ocean, as well as views of the salt marshes nearby. 4 The Oceanview of Nahant – Nahant, MA
Located just outside of Boston, the Oceanview of Nahant is absolutely a hidden gem. It is a wedding venue that is right on the waterfront. The reception space is beautiful yet minimalist, which makes way for the oceanfront views to be the primary source of decor. Guests can also walk out onto the exterior porch to take in the ocean views which is lovely. The best part about the Oceanview of Nahant however is that the outdoor ceremony space is practically right on their private beach! So if you have been dreaming of a beach wedding in New England, this venue is perfect! It is also conveniently located close to the city, making it easy for out-of-town guests to travel to.
5 Cliff House Maine – Cape Neddick, ME
Talk about classic Maine charm! Cliff House Maine is one of the best coastal wedding venues in Maine. It is a stunning property, located literally right on the ocean’s cliffs in beautiful Cape Neddick, Maine. The interior space is very charming with vaulted wood ceilings and bright windows, and of course, the views are unrivaled. Cape Neddick is also not too far north of Boston, so it is easier to get to than some other popular towns further north in Maine.
6 Beauport Hotel – Gloucester, MA
The Beauport Hotel in Gloucester, MA is another favorite wedding venue on the North Shore. It is a beautiful and classy venue perfect for any season with both indoor and outdoor ceremony options. It is located right on the water at a private beach! Your guests will be treated to stunning views and a great reception here.
7 The Institute of Contemporary Art – Boston, MA
If you are looking for a unique wedding experience, then I highly recommend checking out The Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston! The space is modern and artistic and right on the waterfront. Ceremonies here are truly unique and held on the exterior steps of the building by the water. The interior reception space features tall windows with magnificent views.
8 Wychmere Beach Club Dune – Cape Cod, MA
Cape Cod weddings are always dreamy, especially at the Wychmere Beach Club Dune in Harwich Port, MA. Dune is the Wychmere Beach Club’s newest addition and the perfect oceanfront wedding venue. Located directly on the beach, it has lots of possibilities for photos including the beach, dune grass paths, and waterfront open deck. The ceremony can take place on their contemporary deck space with a wide-open view of the ocean. The interior is also elegant and minimal without distracting from the view just outside. Since it is newly constructed, everything about Dune is very modern and fresh.
9 Rosecliff Mansion – Newport, RI
The mansions along the cliffs of Newport, Rhode Island are truly spectacular. But one of my favorites for weddings is Rosecliff. Rosecliff is a white terracotta mansion that was modeled after a baroque pavilion at Versailles. Its interior and exterior are both incredibly stunning. The mansion is the epitome of timeless elegance!
10 Castle Hill Inn – Newport, RI
Another Newport venue, Castle Hill Inn is charm meets luxury that also gives Taylor Swift summer house vibes. It’s a historic estate overlooking the ocean and also sits on acres of land to explore. The entire property is beautifully maintained and has lots of New England character.
