Samantha and Spencer are two of the most loveable personalities, so I’m so excited to share their Eataly Boston wedding today! Terra at Eataly is such a unique wedding venue – the open-air restaurant allows for the day to be truly centered around an amazing meal, which is exactly what Samantha and Spencer wanted! Keep reading for all of the fun details from their Eataly Boston wedding day.
An Eataly Boston Wedding
I first met Samantha and Spencer (and their two tiny adorable puppies!) at their North End engagement photo session and immediately fell in love with them both. [Check out some of their engagement pictures in this post!] I could sense their strong connection from the first moment I met them.
It was such a joy to get to know them and their story while hanging out around Boston’s North End! They shared with me that they met “the old-fashioned way swiping on Hinge,” and their first date was going out for ice cream in Cambridge during lockdown. They spent almost that entire day walking around talking, unable to stop. So it was fitting that for their wedding they chose gelato for dessert instead of cake since they fell in love over ice cream!
Terra at Eataly
Samantha + Spencer planned their wedding day around details that were truly important to them. They chose Eataly Boston as their venue because sharing a great meal with loved ones is one of their favorite things to do. So Terra at Eataly provided the perfect setting for their intimate dinner party-style wedding!
Before the ceremony and reception, they shared a first look at the Boston Public Library. Books are a large part of their lives and their story, so this first look location was chosen intentionally for this reason! I loved spending the day with Samantha and Spencer – they didn’t let the ridiculous amount of rain ruin their excitement for their day, and even stopped off for a drink at an Irish pub before heading to their ceremony!
The ceremony itself at Eataly was so beautiful. Samantha was moved to be able to walk down the aisle with her father, who is a 9/11 survivor, to Spencer and a backdrop of stunning red roses. They spent the rest of the evening enjoying the most delightful meal and celebration with their closest loved ones!
An Amazing Vendor Team
Samantha + Spencer’s Eataly Boston wedding could not have been possible without the amazing team of vendors that they selected. The flowers were really important to Samantha, and she was dying to see her bouquet and ceremony arrangements (featuring her favorite, stunning roses!). The Rose Thief absolutely killed it! Her look was just stunning as well, thanks to the glam team from Home Blown Lux. And lastly, musician Matt Chase kept everyone entertained all evening! This day was one of my favorites for sure.
