A Boston Backyard micro Wedding
Grace and Adityo, Adi, have known each other for over five years and I could feel their love and electricity immediately! They flew east from California to celebrate their backyard micro wedding at Grace’s family home on the beach coast of Boston. A few of their closest family members were present and lots of friends and family were virtually supporting them. Their day was a blast because they really brought their personality into their celebration. The whole family had tons of style and personality. We really had a blast with the family photos.
After the family photos, we traveled down the street to the beach for a few bride and groom photos. This was a great time for them to really enjoy the fact that they were newly married and have fun with each other before re-joining the party. I love when we can incorporate a change of location during a wedding day. This allows for a little privacy for the couple plus a greater variety of images for them to enjoy.
Their ceremony was beautiful and intimate under the pergola in their family backyard. Grace + Adi incorporated so many personal touches including a home made cake by Grace, a killer baker, and some classy cocktails. This family even brought in Del’s from Rhode Island to bring the drinks to the next level. Although this was a micro Boston backyard wedding, nothing about it felt micro at all. There was so much energy, love, and happiness that it was contagious!
To quote one of their favorite songs,
“happiness is when, you really feel good with somebody” – Al Green
And just from this short time with Grace and Adi, I could see their true happiness.
