Jess and Dave had a beautiful vision for their intimate wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill and Bancroft’s Castle. They appreciate quality moments with each other and their closest loved ones which was a main motivation for having a relaxed micro wedding.
A summer outdoor wedding at the Barn at Gibbet Hill with portraits at Bancroft’s Castle
The Barn at Gibbet Hill was a stunning backdrop for their day! Before their ceremony we were able to explore the grounds and make the hike to Bancroft’s Castle for beautiful portraits. The architecture and natural growth on the old structure together created a unique and serene setting for stunning, glowing images. It was also fantastic that they were able to include their handsome puppy in their day and photos! He looked so proud of his family in his little bow tie.
Subsequently, their ceremony took place in the fields of the farm in a small valley between the farm buildings and adjacent hills. It was perfect timing and the sunlight cast a beautiful glow on Jess and Dave and all of their guests. In addition, a talented duo of musicians played acoustic music that completed the picturesque scene. Their ceremony was simple and sincere and lead to lots of laughs.
Having an intimate ceremony allowed them to enjoy their day without the pressure of production. As a result they were given the opportunity to spend quality time with each other and all of their guests. These two have a deep connection with each other and a great appreciate for simplicity and beauty. Above all, the emotion captured in their day is just a glimpse at their love story. I am so grateful to have explored the grounds of the Barn at Gibbet Hill and Bancroft’s Castle with them and shared in their beautiful day!
