If you’re dreaming of a wedding with timeless architecture and an elegant, historic feel, The Mansion on Turner Hill in Ipswich, MA, is truly one of the most stunning spots on the North Shore. Kelsey and Matt’s Turner Hill wedding was gorgeous from beginning to end, filled with classic style and so many fun, heartfelt moments. From their traditional church ceremony to their Bridgerton-inspired reception, their day came together beautifully.

A Timeless Turner Hill Wedding for Kelsey & Matt
The morning began with Kelsey getting ready with her bridesmaids before heading to St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody for a traditional Catholic ceremony. She arrived in a classic car, which set the tone perfectly for their sophisticated, old-money style.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered on the steps for a celebratory moment, and we captured that classic, historic-feeling group shot you only get with a traditional church exit.
From there, Kelsey and Matt hopped back into the classic car and made their way to the Mansion on Turner Hill to celebrate. They decided not to do a first look, so once we arrived at the venue, we took all of their portraits on the property. The grounds there are gorgeous – lush, green, and overlooking the golf course. They made the perfect backdrop for their photos.
Kelsey and Matt’s style was completely black tie: black tuxes, black bridesmaid dresses, and a reception design of black and white décor with all-white florals. Everything looked so elegant and cohesive. Even their cake, which was a vintage tiered design, fit the aesthetic beautifully.

Classic Details & an Elegant Turner Hill Reception
The Mansion on Turner Hill is easily one of my favorite North Shore wedding venues. It has classic, historic architecture and that cozy, library-style interior that reminds you of The Great Gatsby. The grounds are stunning, too. It’s very similar to the elegant, old-world charm of Crane Estate, also in Ipswich.
Kelsey had a clear vision for the day and brought it to life with Bridgerton-inspired details, including a violinist and cellist playing music from the show during cocktail hour! Their tented reception was perfect for September, and we were lucky to have perfect late-summer weather.
The reception was full of energy and joy. The reception band was actually one of their favorite bands, and a highlight of the evening was when Matthew’s dad hopped up to play the drums for a surprise song. Later in the evening, Kelsey changed into a super fun and elegant reception dress with gloves, which was such a stylish second look!
Their whole day was stunning from start to finish, but more importantly, it was filled with so much love. Congratulations, Kelsey and Matt!
