I am SO happy for Jill and Garrett, and couldn’t be more excited to share their Granite Links wedding today. Their wedding was an absolute dream – the perfect Boston wedding!
Jill + Garrett’s Love Story
Jill and Garrett have the sweetest love story – I was so honored that they shared it with me!
They met online during the pandemic – in July of 2020. Their first date was actually over Zoom, where they made cocktails from their own apartments and got to know eachother. Their Zoom date lasted 8 hours! So they knew they had a special connection right from the start. They moved in together a year later, and then got their dog Carson in the fall of 2021. They actually brought Carson to their engagement photo session – it was so cute and SO fun!
St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church Ceremony
J + G held their wedding ceremony at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Dedham. It was a beautiful traditional Catholic mass ceremony. They planned so many special, personalized details all throughout their day, including carrying significant family photos with them – Jill had a photo of her grandparents pinned to her bouquet, and Garrett had a photo pinned inside his suit jacket. And Jill actually dedicated her bouquet to her mom as a beautiful tribute to their mother/daughter relationship. It was SO sweet!
They even carried the family photos into their reception with lots of old family photos on display for guests. I really value when my couples do this at their wedding because wedding photos are for you of course, but also for your future generations to love and cherish as well. They become beautiful family heirlooms.

A Granite Links Wedding Reception
After the ceremony at St. Mary’s, everyone headed to the venue: Granite Links in Quincy, MA. Perhaps one of my favorite moments of the entire day was Jill’s ride to the ceremony, and then J + G’s ride from the church to the venue – both by Bentley. It was such a cool ride, and made for some super fun photos!!
About the Granite Links Wedding Venue
I love Granite Links weddings because the venue is absolutely spectacular. It’s a gorgeous building located at the top of the golf course, with amazing views of the Boston skyline in the background. If you’re looking for a wedding with a view – definitely check out Granite Links! They have tons of variety in terms of space for your reception, lots of helpful info and transparent pricing on their website, and excellent food. Their packages are super comprehensive too and include elements as detailed as decorative table numbers for you to use if you’d like! All of their ballrooms make an elegant backdrop and perfect canvas to design your dream wedding.
J + G’s reception was no exception. Their decor was all so elevated and gave such luxury vibes. Their reception was filled with heartfelt and emotional toasts, great drinks and food, and lots of dancing to the live band. We were even able to sneak outside for some sunset portraits as the sun peeked out through the clouds!
It was such an honor to be there with J + G as they took the next big step in their lives together, and I couldn’t be happier for them Congratulations Jill + Garrett!
